Glenhunter 21 Year Old Circulated in the 1980s

Glenhunter GLENHUNTER 21yo 43% Circulated in the 1980s
Bottle #ブレンデッド・ヴァッテッド(blended or vatted malt)
The first vatted malt I encountered, it surprisingly had a wonderful old sherry character. Glenhunter GLENHUNTER 21yo 43% Circulated in the 1980s The aroma is a very good old sherry, caramel, grape juice, apricot jam, good woodiness, nuts, rich, and when you drink it, there's a nice sherry flavor with some viscosity, caramel and light toasty barley, and a jammy sweetness. There's also a slightly grassy bitterness. [Good/Very Good] This vatted malt was produced by Glenargyle, and it's believed to be the Glenhunter 21 year old from the 1980s. I had never heard of this bottle before, and I didn't have high expectations. However, the aroma strongly conveyed a good old sherry nuance, and I could even sense fruitiness like juice. The aroma also had notes of nuts and woodiness, giving it a rich character. When I drank it, the sherry flavor remained strong, with fruity jam notes and a rich sweetness. From the mid-palate to the finish, there was a slightly grassy bitterness that caught my attention. However, this bottle allowed me to enjoy the charm of the sherry cask more than enough.
