Upon tasting, this long-matured fruity malt has a rich texture, with a creamy and rich sweetness reminiscent of Western pastries like pear tart. Although the alcohol content is lower, it's hard to call it a full-bodied flavor, but with its fruity notes and good oakiness, it had a rich taste. While the aroma evokes thoughts of Bruichladdich's ultra-long-matured expressions, it also feels like a richly textured malt with the thickness typical of an official release. It was a good whisky.
