Glenfiddich Official Centenary 43%

Glenfiddich GLENFIDDICH OB CENTENARY 43%
Bottle #グレンフィディック(GLENFIDDICH)
As expected of a Centenary bottling, it's quite unique. Glenfiddich GLENFIDDICH OB CENTENARY 43% The aroma offers a pleasant old-world character, refined barley notes with a refreshing lemon brightness, grassy hay-like nuances, and a gentle syrup sweetness from the cask. On the palate, it begins with a soft mouthfeel that spreads gently, featuring a textured, refined sweetness and umami reminiscent of barley syrup, with a faint lemon acidity. Though lacking thickness, it finishes with an elegant, graceful lingering impression. [Good/Very Good] This is the official bottling commemorating Glenfiddich's 100th anniversary. It is said that after great hardship, the first distillate was obtained on Christmas morning in 1887. However, this bottle is noted to have been bottled exactly 100 years later on Christmas in 1986. Regarding the contents, there's no artificial flavoring, allowing the straightforward aroma of Glenfiddich to shine through. While the bottle's condition may vary, even after 20 years of aging in the bottle with water added, it remains unblemished, offering a rich, flavorful experience. The impression of syrup-like sweetness and umami from barley was particularly striking. A refined aroma with a sense of pride, this was a beautiful malt.
