Regarding the crowdfunding campaign 'A Publication Project to Create a Book That Introduces the Goodness of Whisky for Those Who Love Alcohol,' which has been quietly discussed among whisky enthusiasts, I was unable to support it earlier due to various circumstances. Although I had concrete plans several years ago, consulting with publishing professionals revealed that the hurdles involved are not only time-consuming but also require significant financial resources. Unable to afford self-publishing, I had to abandon the idea. However, this crowdfunding campaign felt like a lifeline. At this point, there's no choice but to support it. (laughs) The editors, Kurashima-san and Fujii-san, are of my generation, and we still maintain contact. Both have solid expertise, and I share many sympathies with their publication concept. I believe this will certainly be a wonderful book that addresses the right points.
