Bottle #グレンモーレンジ(GLENMORANGIE)
Although it's a comparison bottle, it's delicious in its own right. Glenmorangie GLENMORANGIE OB PORT WOOD FINISH 43% Circulated in the mid-2000s as a half-bottle set with cask strength The aroma features vanilla, orange, plum, subtle jammy notes, caramel, oak, and a gentle mouthfeel with ripe fruity sweetness reminiscent of fruit tea. [Good/Very Good] Glenmorangie's official Port Wood Finish. It was sold as a half-bottle set alongside the cask strength version, circulating around mid-2000s. While the cask strength version is truly exceptional, this bottle serves more as a companion piece. However, it's quite tasty. It lacks complexity but offers gentle aromas and flavors with soft sweetness and fruity notes that are pleasant. There was no artificial or forced feeling often associated with finished whiskies. Previously, this bottle seemed to have a slightly artificial nuance, but after some time since bottling, it may have developed a more cohesive character.
