Rich, with a slightly creamy long finish similar to the aroma. 【Good/Very Good】 New release Balvenie TUN1509, Batch No.1. It seems the previously familiar TUN1401 has ended. Interestingly, barrel numbers are no longer listed on labels as they were before. Even with TUN1501, the balanced aroma remains diverse and deep as previous TUNS, making tastings enjoyable as always. A unified harmony of new and old, with both sherry & bourbon cask nuances, smooth mouthfeel and aromatic body expansion. In the latter part of TUN1401, there were more strongly tannic sherry notes (though still delicious), but this bottle has almost no sticking points, suggesting a course correction. However, there's an impression that the proportion of younger bourbon barrels has increased slightly, making it feel a bit lighter in thickness and depth.
