New Release: Springbank 12 Year Old Official Green

Springbank SPRINGBANK 12yo OB GREEN 46% Organic specification, but it has the aroma of recent orthodox banks.
Bottle #スプリングバンク(SPRINGBANK)
Although it is a special organic specification, it has the aroma of recent orthodox banks. Springbank SPRINGBANK 12yo OB GREEN 46% The aroma has vanilla, faint pear, lemongrass, gradually ripe apricot, mint, good barley notes with youthfulness, overall rustic and slightly rough impression, peat from the back, smooth mouthfeel when drinking, faint white peach and peach, strawberry daifuku, rich barley umami, condensed chewy texture, some roughness, slightly sweet honey and good acidity, strong briny, slightly peaty finish. 【Good/Very Good】 The official 12 year old from Springbank, Green. It is made with organic barley. Perhaps it follows the series of Davy's from a few years ago. The aroma starts with citrus and gradually develops into sticky ripe fruitiness over time. The barley notes are pleasant, and despite being 12 years old, it doesn't feel too immature. Like recent releases, the peat is also somewhat prominent. When drinking, it has a well-balanced water addition, no roughness, chewy texture, and some rustic barley umami and good roughness, making it quite complex. The acidity reminiscent of strawberry daifuku is also impressive, and from the latter half to the finish, the peat feels stronger than the aroma. Although it has a special organic barley specification, I thought it might have an unusual taste, but it felt like a relatively recent carefully made Springbank with some rustic and rough characteristics. Due to water addition, it already has a good finish at this stage, but I think with more time, the integration will improve, and the rusticness will fade, turning into a more fruity elegance. As a special edition official release, the price is not too high. It can be enjoyed by watching its changes in a bottle or letting it rest in the bottle. I think this bottle offers various ways to enjoy. I also purchased it. Looking forward to opening it.
