Bottle #ブルイックラディ(BRUICHLADDICH)
A heavy commemorative bottle that leaves you feeling drunk from drinking it. Bruichladdich BRUICHLADDICH 15 Year Old OB Centenary Bottling 53% bottled in 1981 The aroma has a cinnamon-dusted baked apple, faded caramel sauce, rustic barley notes, strong herbs, clove, leather, and a pronounced oily, rich character with a resinous pine-like quality. The mouthfeel is viscous and expands powerfully with rich, concentrated sweetness and acidity from baked apple, apricot jam, and plum jam. The roasted barley's umami and resinous pine notes create a thick body with drinking satisfaction. The oily finish is long-lasting. 【Good/Very Good】 This is a commemorative decanter bottled by Bruichladdich to celebrate its Centenary (100th anniversary of operations) in 1981. As a 15-year-old whisky, it would be from around the 1966 vintage. The aroma has a rich apple character, with good barley notes. Elements like caramel, herbs, and spices from sherry casks contribute to a complex aroma. When drinking, it has a concentrated sweetness and acidity like jam, along with the umami of barley, providing ample drinking satisfaction. The resinous woody character reminiscent of pine resin adds richness but also gives a slightly rustic, heavy feel overall. Personally, I found it quite heavy and tiring to drink, but it was a rich, deep malt with high satisfaction in one glass. #Bruichladdich (BRUICHLADDICH)
