Alongside concentrated fruits like raisins, there's a grape juice-like quality, with bitterness from chocolate, herbs, spices, and an earthy undertone. It has a juicy sweetness and tannins that are not overly strong for its aging duration, with a fragrant, pleasant finish that lingers long. Despite being diluted to 43%, the strong sherry character from such a long aging period suggests it might have been aged in an American white oak sherry cask.
