A malt whisky packed with the charm of 1960s sherry casks, it feels more rustic and mellow than noble, with impressions of dried fruits with jam and grape notes, as well as a sweet miso-like nuance. Upon tasting, the aroma's impression is complemented by a seductive quality, with a balanced combination of thick sweetness and herbal tannins, along with leather and faint peat, creating a complex and intoxicating experience. While sherry dominates and the original spirit's character is barely noticeable, this Caperdonich offers a sweetly appealing sherry experience.
