It was finished in a sherry cask for six months prior to bottling. Fifteen years have passed since bottling, and the influence of the finish is subtly integrated. The aroma features a concentrated array of fruity notes, with cinnamon particularly evoking the nuance of apple pie. Slightly later, a characteristic East Highlands peatiness emerges. The taste is complex and sensual, with tannins enhancing the sweet, velvety flavor to deepen its character. The unique peatiness remains intact. Despite its long aging, the body is still well-preserved, with a notably aggressive aroma that delivers high satisfaction.
