It was opened for the 15th anniversary celebration at Yurakucho Campbelltown Loch. Following the previous 1965 release, this is another classic sherry cask Farclas. It delivers a full-bodied aroma with rich sherry characteristics, including plum and berry jam, mint, caramel, Shaoxing wine, coffee, herbs—elements typical of sherry casks from that era. When tasted, it offers a very aromatic expansion with a dense jam-like sweetness, good acidity, and woody bitterness. Truly rich, robust, and delicious. This bottle has a unique character that's hard to define, but it feels like a well-rounded example of the good qualities from 1960s sherry casks, delivering a convincing and delicious experience.
