I previously tasted it in Yurakucho and was amazed by its aroma, which led me to purchase it. Recently, I wanted to drink it again and brought it back to Yurakucho to open. It is likely a refilled sherry butt, with a natural strawberry jam character, but also has a rich fruitiness and deep malty notes. The aroma carries earthy and peaty nuances. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied, with a sweet strawberry jam character balanced by pleasant tannins, malty umami, and briny notes. Overall, it has a mysterious, seductive nuance, without excessive maturity, and is appropriately mellowed. It was an intoxicating Springbank.
