One of the excellent examples of Springbank. Springbank SPRINGBANK 1970-2007 36yo Shieldaig #1702 49.5% The aroma is strong and floral, with notes of apricot jam and strawberry jam, floral, vanilla cream, good oak and incense, rich and complex with a sense of intoxication. When you drink it, the mouthfeel is smooth and rich, expanding with the sweet depth of apricot jam, a pleasant saltiness, slightly oily and complex, with a long, intoxicating finish. 【Very Good】 This is Springbank 1970, aged for 36 years in Shieldaig. Although I have had this malt many times before, it still has that intoxicating quality and is a wonderful Springbank. From the start, there's a strong, floral aroma typical of a malt perfume, with a jam-like quality that includes strawberries, and the oak nuances are just right, making you feel entranced. When you put it in your mouth, there's a smooth texture and an extremely rich expansion. The sweet depth is complemented by a pleasant saltiness, allowing you to enjoy an intoxicating long finish. This is one of the masterpieces from Shieldaig.
