A very fruity and house-style nice cask. Glencadam GLENCADAM 1972-2001 29yo SIGNATORY VINTAGE Silent Stills #7821 52.5% one of 298 bottles The aroma is elegant and estery, with notes of loquat, orange cream, vanilla, fruity flavored tea. On the palate, it starts with a smooth mouthfeel that expands into spiciness, similar to the aroma, with fruits and cream, a sweet depth of flavor, a hint of barley, and a long finish. 【Very Good】 This is Glencadam 1972, aged for 29 years, bottled by Signatory as part of their Silent Stills closed distillery series in 2001. Although the distillery is still operational, it's believed this bottle was filled during a period when it had been closed for several years. The aroma showcases an estery, diverse fruitiness often found in the bottler's long-aged releases, while also conveying nuances reminiscent of the so-called 'Cadam house style,' such as orange cream. The flavor profile mirrors the aroma, offering a gentle and smooth experience where the alcohol strength feels less pronounced than expected. A fruity and creamy character, evoking the enjoyment of pastries with tea, makes this a long-matured malt. #Glencadam (GLENCADAM)
