On the palate, it has an extremely smooth mouthfeel with aging depth, strawberry jam, orange, a rich sweetness balanced by subtle acidity, a faint oily texture, and a long finish. 【Very Good】 This GlenGlassaugh 1972, aged for 40 years, was bottled by C&S Dram Collection (possibly German). It opens with a rich, estery aroma full of aging character, impressively showcasing strong strawberry jam notes within its diverse fruity profile. Naturally, the barrel influence typical of long aging was prominent and complex. On tasting, it still carries a strong aging character, with the same rich fruity notes and intoxicating depth as the aroma. The finish was notably oily and long-lasting. While the malty character had diminished, it retained a solid structure for its ABV, which was a positive aspect.
