Craigellachie 1972 24 Year Old The Bottlers #6571
Bottle #クレイゲラキ(CRAIGELLACHIE)
Wonderfully rich and viscous, a bottle of my favorite style.
Craigellachie (CRAIGELLACHIE) 1972-1996 24 Year Old The Bottlers #6571 52.4%
The aroma is rich and intoxicating, with notes of apricot jam, cinnamon-spiced apple pie, concentrated black tea, deep malty character, honey, strong yet with a sense of calm. When drinking, it is rich and viscous, with a sweet, full-bodied flavor of apricot jam and honey. A gentle oak nuance that enhances the depth of flavor, a concentrated malty umami, and high-dimensional balance with a long finish. [Very Good]
This Craigellachie 1972, bottled by The Bottlers in 1996, aged for 24 years. The aroma is very rich and weighty, with hints of apricot jam, apple pie, concentrated tea, and a pleasant malty umami with honey. After bottling, it has a refined atmosphere that increases anticipation.
When drinking, the texture is viscous, and it delivers a rich flavor that does not disappoint expectations. The full-bodied sweetness, good oak nuances, and the deepening malty umami are clearly felt, with a well-balanced composition at a high level.
This type may not be particularly complex, but it is one of my favorite examples of malt. It's deliciously obvious yet never tiring to drink, making it easy to keep drinking.
