The aroma had an estery, intoxicating character typical of The Whisky Agency's long-aged whiskies. A variety of fruits were sensed, including jam-like notes, dried fruits, with hints of tea and creaminess. When drinking, it had a strong mature character, with the smooth mouthfeel bursting into a variety of fruits. A creaminess similar to the aroma was also felt, with a texture that wrapped around the mouth. The cask had a noticeable effect but without strong rawness or seasoning.
