Bruichladdich BRUICHLADDICH 1973 30yo OB 40.2% one of 4200 bottles
Bottle #ブルイックラディ(BRUICHLADDICH)
In this Bruichladdich, I felt a sense of thickness despite the alcohol strength. Bruichladdich BRUICHLADDICH 1973 30yo OB 40.2% one of 4200 bottles The aroma is strong with baked apple, apricot jam, cinnamon, Cognac, a heavy and complex richness. Upon drinking, it spreads from a smooth mouthfeel with a viscous texture, the sweetness of concentrated apricot jam, apple pie, mint, and a good tannic astringency, with an unexpected body and long finish. 【Very Good】 This is the official bottling of Bruichladdich 1973, aged for 30 years. The aroma features the likeness of baked apples and apricot jam, as well as a grape-like sensation reminiscent of Cognac, presenting a complex and rich profile. Upon tasting, it is smooth with viscosity, evoking nuances of apricot jam sweetness and apple pie-like notes. The tannic astringency is well-balanced, contributing to a sense of depth and body. After its reopening, Bruichladdich's long-aged bottlings often include items in the Legacy Series around 40%, which are estery and offer diverse fruity sensations, but often have a lighter body that feels somewhat lacking in the latter half. However, this bottle surprisingly maintained thickness throughout and provided a satisfying drinking experience despite its lower alcohol content. #Bruichladdich (BRUICHLADDICH)
