The aroma is elegant, with a concentrated scent of orange, white flowers, dry malt, seawater minerals, and smoky peat.
On the palate, it has a smooth mouthfeel with a slightly powdery concentration, rich umami, refined sweetness and acidity, and a clean peaty finish.

This is a Clydesdale bottled by Wilson & Morgan in 1997, aged for 22 years.
It was bottled with water added and has now been over 20 years since bottling.
With a fragrant nose, it offers citrus fruitiness, floral notes, mature malt character, and a harmonious blend of sea and peat nuances.
It remains well-rounded without any dryness, with the same harmony experienced in the aroma also present on the palate.
The cask influence is minimal, yet it has a refined and concentrated finish, making it very enjoyable.
It would be difficult to distinguish from a delicious 1970s Port Ellen if tasted blind.
