Knockando 1975-1988 Original Bottling 43% Liter Bottle
Bottle #ノッカンドゥ(KNOCKANDO)
While well-matured, this official bottling retains a solid body. Knockando 1975-1988 Original Bottling 43% Liter Bottle The aroma features orange marmalade, plum jam, deep barley notes, black tea, and a subtle sherry influence with a delicate finish. On the palate, it offers a soft mouthfeel with dried orange characteristics, a touch of barley umami, gentle sweetness, a hint of sesame, and a tightening oak finish. [Good/Very Good] This official bottling was released in 1975 and 1988. Additionally, I have never encountered a liter bottle with this label before. Although aged for approximately 13 years, the 28-year maturation in bottle contributed to a concentrated, diverse fruitiness with tea-like nuances. The well-developed barley depth left a strong impression. While the drink exhibits some dryness, the barley umami remains evident with sufficient body and satisfaction. Knockando often displays a diverse, intoxicating fruitiness when it reaches maturity through bottle aging. This bottling hinted at that characteristic. Ideal for the early stages of a dram. #Knockando (KNOCKANDO)
