It had an elegant and characteristic charm of the bottler's long maturation. Speyside Region 1975-2016 41yo Scotch Malt Sales 'Rogha' 52.8% The aroma was estery with a significant sense of aging, featuring notes of compote pears, pineapple, vanilla, chestnuts, and the oakiness of old casks. Upon drinking, it began with a mellow mouthfeel expanding into strong, aged fruits similar to the aroma—such as almond tofu pudding, dripping sweetness of fruits, and a pleasant acidity. It was intoxicating but lacked the expansion in the latter half, fading delicately and swiftly. 【Very Good】 Recently released by Scotch Malt Sales, this single malt labeled as Speyside Region was distilled in 1975. It is speculated to be from Glenfarclas distillery. The aroma was very elegant and aged, with clear estery notes of white peaches and pineapple. Due to its extremely long maturation, the alcohol strength did not feel as thick as expected, but compared to Duncan Taylor's 40% range of similar fruity profiles, it retained a certain level of power without bitterness from over-aging. It had juiciness with pleasant sweetness and acidity, offering a unique intoxication that only this type of whisky can provide. Though lacking the fullness in the latter half, it had a beautiful delicacy with its swift fading finish, embodying the charm of well-aged bottlings from Speyside. #Glenfarclas (GLENFARCLAS)
