Faint peach, vanilla, gradually introducing a plant-like quality and syrupy sweetness, with a clean finish that is not overly long. [Good/Very Good] Dun Bheagan bottled this Convalmore 1975, aged for 30 years in 2006. The strong, elegant aroma of aging is immediately noticeable, centered around fresh citrus notes with a rich presence of fruits like pear, apple, and peach. It is believed to be from a bourbon cask (Hogshead), with clear elements of vanilla and custard. Upon drinking, a light and elegant flavor spreads. Similar to the aroma, the matured, diverse fruitiness is strongly felt even after drinking, and while the body is slightly light, it is easy to drink smoothly without any lingering sensation.
