Bottle #クラガンモア(CRAGGANMORE)
This was precisely a short-matured malt at the perfect drinking time. Cragganmore GRAGGANMORE 1976-1989 GM CASK for SESTANTE 56.1% Aroma has a good old-world feel, simple yet moist barley notes, slightly withered orange, white wine, old brandy or calvados, a faint intoxicating sensation, a texture that seeps into the tongue, matured strong barley notes, old white wine and faint peach, a robust umami with bite, slightly dry with moderate sweetness, good acidity, and a long intoxicating aftertaste. 【Very Good】 From GM's CASK series, this Cragganmore 1976 and 1989 was filled for SESTANTE in Italy, aged approximately 13 years. The aroma is wrapped in a pleasant old-world feel, with simple yet skillful barley notes and diverse fruits with slightly dried nuances. Tasting it also reveals the same old-world, matured strong barley notes and fruits. The robust umami from barley, slightly dry and reserved sweetness align with my preferences, leaving an intoxicating aftertaste. These elements of dried fruits, brandy, and calvados associated with the old-world feel likely emerged from changes during bottle aging. I suspect it was more straightforward and barley-forward when first filled. However, if the old-world feel becomes stronger, it might compromise drinkability. I think this is exactly the right time to enjoy this short-matured malt. #Cragganmore (CRAGGANMORE)
