Highland Park 1977-1996 19 Year Old Adelphi 57.3%

A label that is particularly unfriendly to readers, but the flavor was good.
Highland Park HIGHLAND PARK 1977-1996 19yo ADELPHI 57.3%
The aroma features creamed brulee, vanilla, a simple yet strong barley note, oak, a faint katsuobushi dashi, and a mild earthiness with strong peat.
On the palate, it has a smooth mouthfeel with flavors of orange, pineapple, creamed brulee, honeyed sweetness, rich oak, savory barley notes that linger on the tongue, and a gradual peat finish. [Very Good]
This is a 1977 Highland Park bottled by Adelphi in 1996, aged for 19 years.
Adelphi's labels were already small, with tiny text, and during this period, the specifications were written in extremely small letters on the back label.
There are also variations such as cask numbers printed on the front label, but overall, it does not cater to readers' convenience. (Laugh)
As for the crucial content, it is delicious.
When thinking of Highland Park 1977, the official Bicentenary bottling is famous, and other agency releases have also been discussed. I had an image of a strong nut cream nuance.
This bottle does not entirely lack that, but it has a sweet nuance like creamed brulee, simple yet savory barley notes, rich cask characteristics, and a diverse range of aromas including fruits and peat.
It also has a rich, honeyed sweetness reminiscent of heather honey, along with a textured mouthfeel that seems to have developed through aging. I found it quite delicious.
