Bottle #グレンロッキー(GLENLOCHY)
It felt more like the flavor of a bottler than that of a rare distillery. Glenlochy GLENLOCHY 1977-1997 19yo Cadenhead Authentic Collection 56.5% The aroma has fresh citrus, Japanese pear, a strong, sharp maltiness, a faint hint of nectarine, and plain cask notes. When drinking, it has condensed fresh citrus with a strong, chewy maltiness that lingers for a long time. [Good/Very Good] This Glenlochy 1977, aged for 19 years, was bottled in 1997 as part of the Cadenhead Authentic Collection. It is a type that does not have a strong cask influence, common in Green Cadenhead, with plain aromatics. I thought it emphasized a fresh, sharp, strong maltiness, but the impressionable nuance of Japanese pear in the aroma was notable. Glenlochy is a distillery that doesn't often appear, and it didn't leave an impression of being particularly special in its aroma. However, I haven't encountered anything with strange or off-putting characteristics. Rather, it left an impression of being a simple and delicious malt. #Glenlochy (GLENLOCHY)
