Though the alcohol strength is high, the finish is pleasant but not overly long. 【Very Good】 This is a 17-year-old Glenlossie bottled by Cadenhead in 1995. While it lacks the complexity of longer maturation, its rustic barley character forms a base with subtle hints of refined fruits like peach and pear. This same characteristic was evident in both aroma and flavor. The moist, penetrating barley umami and honey-like sweetness were highly enjoyable. This bottle strongly reflects the short-matured nature of Green Cadenhead, with no artificial elements. I suspect that the estery fruit notes and penetrating texture were not present at bottling time.
