Green apple, old white wine, vanilla, diluted honey, muscat, white flowers, grassy notes, initially clear but with a slightly smoky depth emerging from the back, subtle peatiness.
・Flavor:
Green apple and vanilla, grassy notes, dry malt, moist peat, gentle honey sweetness, somewhat briny, the flavor is fundamentally clear with good balance. Honey sweetness and grass. The aforementioned roughness remains but surprisingly pleasant.

・Overall Review:
The clean and clear bourbon cask flavor is enhanced by BUNNAHABHAIN's characteristic roughness, resulting in an unexpectedly deep and delicious profile. The balance is excellent and the flavor is not tiring to drink.
【Good/Very Good】
Selected by Mr. Moriyasu and bottled by Alan Japan (now Whisky One) as part of the Single Cask Collection. BUNNAHABHAIN 1979, 19 years old.
While BUNNAHABHAIN often exhibits a rough and slightly bitter flavor from the latter part of the palate to the finish, this bottle's overall freshness and clarity make its character more easily discernible. Surprisingly, the roughness and bitterness connect to a pleasant depth and complexity, resulting in an enjoyable experience.
