New Release: Dufftown 1979 34 Year Old Cadenhead's Gold Dumpy Bottle

Dufftown DUFFTOWN 1979-2014 34yo CADENHEAD'S 48% one of 216 bottles, Sherry Butt
Bottle #ダフタウン(DUFFTOWN)
New gold label series. Has a special feel. Dufftown DUFFTOWN 1979-2014 34yo CADENHEAD'S 48% one of 216 bottles, Sherry Butt The aroma is elegant and moist good sherry with a matured flavor, sour plums, oranges, dried fruits, cream, herbs like celery, faint clove and cinnamon, nuts. The mouthfeel starts soft and expands into rich sherry, plums, herbs that deepen the flavor, moderate sweetness of black sugar and jam, a rich body with medium weight, and a pleasant long finish. [Good/Very Good] It's the same bottle as the Black Caden series, but the gold label version is a new release. Fiddich, Dufftown, and Dalmore were mentioned, but all seem to be long-aged. At Yurakucho, Dufftown and Dalmore were available. The Fiddich that couldn't be tried this time was apparently very delicious, but the price was quite high. By the way, Caden is fond of gold labels. The concept that Special equals Gold is clear. (laugh) By the way, the official 21-year-old from Springbank, which is under the same capital, was also gold. Anyway, regarding the essential content, a clear sense of aging is felt from the aroma, the sherry nuances are present but not overpowering, and there's a fresh fruity sensation rather than being thick and concentrated. When drinking, it has a good rich sherry feel with clear aging, the jam-like sweetness is impressive, and it's an all-around excellent bottle that can be enjoyed smoothly until the finish.
