Dailuaine DAILUAINE 1980-1998 SAMAROLI 45%
Bottle #ダルウィニー(DALWHINNIE)
The Dailuaine from 1980 tends to be quite fruity. Dailuaine DAILUAINE 1980-1998 SAMAROLI 45% The aroma features orange, faint pear and peach, a slightly husky strong malt, vanilla cream, straw, and hay. On the palate, it offers orange peel, concentrated apricot tea, faint tree sap, a slightly fresh yet solid malt, gentle sweetness with refined acidity, and a light peat. [Good/Very Good] This Samaroli bottling of Dailuaine 1980 was bottled in 1998, having aged for approximately 18 years. Possibly due to some time passing since bottling, this bottle stood out for its pronounced fruitiness. While Samaroli's bottlings may feel slightly less robust, the barley character remains with a gentle sweetness, making it enjoyable. Dailuaine 1980 is also released through collaborations such as the Dreams Series with Moon Import and Adelphi, all of which leave a fruity impression.
