It had a plain aroma with little influence from the cask, featuring citrus-like tangy notes and simple barley character along with sharp peat-smoke. The flavor also had a plain impression, with a spicy peppery nuance typical of Talisker, a refined syrup-like sweetness, and a solid barley umami, with the sharp peat lingering long.
