In the latter part there is a slight oak bitterness but also depth. 【Good】 This Strathisla 1981 was bottled by Samaroli in 1996, approximately 15 years of aging. The aroma has a slightly thick and heavy rustic feel, with strong notes of citrus and damp barley. It is not very complex. When drinking it has a smooth mouthfeel but still feels thick and heavy, with the same citrus and barley notes as the aroma. The sweetness is rich and has a sense of thickness, but seeing the Samaroli label makes one wish for more aging and complexity, even if it's a bit of a desire for something more.
