Bottle #オルトモア(AULTMORE)
It was neatly and compactly presented. Aultmore AULTMORE 1982-2015 WEMYSS MALTS 46% one of 247 bottles, Hogshead The aroma features honey and vanilla, green apple, a unique nuance with a slightly savory tuna-like oily sensation, oak, and a fairly rich profile. On the palate, it offers a gentle mouthfeel with orange oil, sweet honeyed richness, and a pleasant woodiness and tannin that provide structure, finishing with a satisfying aftertaste. [Good/Very Good] This Aultmore 1982 from Wemyss is a relatively recent release, aged for approximately 33 years. While it exhibits good bourbon cask characteristics like honey, vanilla, and orange oil, I didn't detect any forced flavoring or overly raw woody notes. Though not exceptionally complex for its aging period, I found the cask influence to be well-balanced, resulting in a harmonious final product that aligns with my personal preferences.
