Bottle #ポートエレン(PORT ELLEN)
A condensed and cool Port Ellen. PORT ELLEN PORT ELLEN 1983-1997 MOON IMPORT 'DOVR TOUTES MARES' 50% The aroma is elegant, with citrus and chlorine notes, a cool metallic sensation, white flowers, vanilla, dry grains, and a strong smoky peat. When drinking, it starts with a soft mouthfeel that gradually expands into spicy notes. Similar to the aroma, there are citrus and cool metallic sensations, a chewy grain umami, syrup-like sweetness with a tinge of citrus acidity, slightly oily and well-smoky. The finish is long. 【Good/Very Good】 From the MOON IMPORT 'DOVR TOUTES MARES' series, this Port Ellen 1980 is relatively short-matured, about 14 years. This Port Ellen has a slightly metallic or chlorinated nuance, reminiscent of the drier style found in 1970s Ardbeg. It retains strong peatiness and grain umami typical of short-matured Islay malts, and the condensed feeling when drinking was also a good impression. #PORT ELLEN (PORT ELLEN)
