It's quite nostalgic to have a whisky from 1984 that has aged over 30 years. A full-bodied fruity flavor with a sense of maturity and concentration is clearly felt, along with a rich aroma reminiscent of apple pie with hints of barley and cinnamon. When drinking it, the matured mouthfeel is still present, with a fruity, slightly creamy sweetness and a good astringency that deepens the flavor, resulting in a rich and enjoyable taste. Initially, The Whisky Agency was known for releasing many long-aged whiskies like Duncan Taylor, but naturally, the supply of 1960s and 1970s distillates has decreased.
