Bottle #クラガンモア(CRAGGANMORE)
Deeply delicious, I think this is a bottle that became more flavorful over time. Cragganmore CRAGGANMORE 1985-2006 20yo WHISKY EXCHANGE 56.3% The aroma has a simple yet savory strong barley note with some maturity, featuring apricot jam, faint nuts and ginger, rich. When drinking, it starts with a smooth mouthfeel that expands into a fragrant depth, gradually becoming spicy with apricot jam, a touch of orange oil, strong barley notes with savory depth, sweet richness, and a tightening light oak finish, leaving a rich and long-lasting aftertaste. 【Very Good】 This is the Cragganmore 1985, 20-year-old bottling from the Greek Alphabet Series by Whisky Exchange, released in 2006. The aroma is based on simple barley notes, with other components following in its wake. Upon tasting, the base is similarly rich and strong barley notes with savory depth as in the aroma, but the fruity elements felt significantly stronger than the aroma. It has a full-bodied and deep flavor with richness, suggesting it would appeal more to connoisseurs, yet it's quite delicious and tempting to keep ordering more. It still has power but also shows a nuanced maturity, leading me to speculate that at the time of release, it might not have been as pleasant to drink. While many bottles don't change much after 10 years in the bottle, what makes this bottle different?...
