On the palate, it exhibits a matured depth with similarly refined fruity, vanilla, and honeyed sweetness, balanced by the tannic oak structure. The finish leaves a clean, lingering impression of gentle malt and fruit. 【Very Good】 This release from SCOTCH MALT SALES' 'THE TASTER' series features TORMORE 1988, selected by Mr. Tanishima, master distiller at Bar Fingerall in Kagurazaka. Aged in refilled bourbon hogsheads, it offers a balanced natural maturity with a refined oak character. The whisky feels soft and layered, yet overall elegant and pleasant. As expected from Mr. Tanishima's selection, it's a remarkable choice.
