Glenfarclas 1990 20 Year Old Official Highland ?? for #9589

Glenfarclas GLENFARCLAS 1990 20yo OB for HIGHLAND ?? #9589 56.8%
Bottle #グレンファークラス(GLENFARCLAS)
This is a Highland... How should I read it? But it's delicious. Glenfarclas GLENFARCLAS 1990 20yo OB for HIGHLAND ?? #9589 56.8% The aroma has a good sherry note, gentle berry notes, black tea, American coffee, a solid barley sensation, and herbs. Upon drinking, it starts with a smooth mouthfeel that expands powerfully, featuring rich jam-like sweetness, herbal bitterness, and umami from barley. From the depths come herbs, spices, body, and a rich, long finish. [Good/Very Good] An official bottling of Glenfarclas, a single cask aged for 20 years from a 1990 distillation. Although there is notation about the bottling location, I cannot decipher it. Should it be read as 'Highland Circle ??'? Well, I don't know much about that area, but it's a delicious Glenfarclas. The sherry note is good without being overpowering, with diverse elements like berry fruits and their jams, coffee, herbs, and spices. If I were to list all the elements that can be detected, it would be quite a lengthy description. Additionally, since the sherry note isn't too strong, the barley sensation is clearly felt, allowing one to savor its umami. Given it's a bottling from about five years ago, the sherry and barley notes may have harmonized more, enhancing the sense of unity and making it even tastier. I don't know who selected the cask, but I believe they chose a good one. By the way, during a pre-tasting event held when Mr. Grant visited Japan, I recall drinking a similar sherry-forward Glenfarclas 1990 that was served to whisky enthusiasts.
