A wonderful commemorative bottle befitting a renowned establishment. Craigellachie CRAIGELLACHIE 1990-2016 26yo BBR Berry's Best Label for Ginza Zenith 10th anniversary 48.4% The aroma is vibrant and fruity, with notes of citrus, faint peach, wax and tree resin, white grape juice, matured malt, with fruity as the main theme but also honey wax and oil, with a hint of peat. When drinking, it starts with a smooth and gentle mouthfeel, expanding into a calm, viscous texture. Similar to the aroma, there are notes of wax and tree resin, concentrated white grape, sweet honey-like richness, a gentle oakiness to balance it out, faint tar, and an oily, long finish. 【Very Good】 This Craigellachie 1990, aged for 26 years, was bottled by Ginza Zenith to commemorate their 10th anniversary. It features a reissued Berry's Best label, and is in a specially crafted green bottle. As far as I know, only Laphroaig and Glenmorangie were previously allowed to use this label for their 60th anniversary releases. Upon closer inspection, the label for Ginza Zenith has a glossy finish, slightly different from previous specifications. Regarding the crucial content, it lives up to expectations. The aroma and flavor have the expected characteristics of this specification Craigellachie, with a waxy, resinous nuance similar to the delicious Clydesdale, but also has lightness, and is further emphasized by a diverse array of fruity notes such as citrus, peach, and white grape. It has a gentle, smooth mouthfeel with a sense of aging, easy to drink without stress, but also has depth and richness from the barrel character and peat. This was a vibrant Craigellachie befitting the 10th anniversary of Ginza's wonderful bar. Additionally, a bottle with the same specification was recently released for Mash Tan in Meguro, which I also received. Both have a sister-like similarity in their unique characteristics. To put it simply, the Ginza Zenith version feels softer and makes the diverse fruits more noticeable, while the Mash Tan version has a stronger, thicker feel with more drinking satisfaction according to my personal opinion. Given how much I enjoy this style, both bottles are ones I could easily drink any amount of. It's a happiness that special, delicious bottles from my favorite distillery are continuously released by renowned establishments. This bottle was received for Ginza Zenith's 10th anniversary. At this time, the shop has also moved to the 7th floor near Kikuya Bridge, and I visited immediately, finding it a wonderful place. I met Master Suda last year in Scotland, and no matter when I visit, all the drinks, not just malts, are delicious. I look forward to visiting for a long time. #Craigellachie (CRAIGELLACHIE)
