PULTENEY 1991 15 Year Old Official Bottling Cask Strength

PULTENEY PULTENEY 1991 15yo OB CASK STRENGTH 54.9%
Bottle #プルトニー(PULTENEY)
A bottle I used to enjoy, and it's still delicious. PULTENEY PULTENEY 1991 15yo OB CASK STRENGTH 54.9% The aroma has honey, orange, vanilla, a rustic grain note, oil, sea breeze. Upon drinking, it has a strong attack, ripe orange, viscous and rich honey sweetness, light oak tannins, pronounced saltiness, and a long finish. [Good/Very Good] This is an official PULTENEY 1991, 15-year-old cask strength whisky. I drank it around five years ago in Yurakucho and liked it, so I bought a bottle myself and drank it quite a bit. At the time, it had been released several years prior, but there was still plenty available on the market. I remember it wasn't very popular. With its orange notes, rustic grain character, oiliness, briny touch, rich sweetness, pronounced saltiness, and a long, pleasant finish without any bitterness, it truly felt like a cask strength PULTENEY from a bourbon barrel. This bottle helped me recognize what makes PULTENEY unique, and even now, it's still delicious with its full expression of character.
