Irish Whisky IRISH WHISKEY 1991-2014 22yo NECTER with La Maison du Whisky 46.6%
Bottle #アイリッシュ(IRISH)
I thought it was a somewhat unrefined type. Irish Whisky IRISH WHISKEY 1991-2014 22yo NECTER with La Maison du Whisky 46.6% The aroma is strong with fruits, pear, pineapple, orange, and a slight chemical-like sensation. From the depths, there's a barley note alongside oak and oil. Upon drinking, it starts with a smooth mouthfeel that expands into a rich, viscous texture. The flavor mirrors the aroma with diverse fruits and chemical-like notes, along with vanilla cream, a faint paper-like graininess, a pronounced sweetness, and tightening oak. The finish is oily. 【Good】 This Irish Whisky is a collaboration between Belgium's NECTER and France's La Maison du Whisky. It seems that tropical notes like these are becoming rarer in Scotch, which is why such Irish Whiskies have been increasingly bottled recently. The strong chemical-like fruit notes and oiliness are prominent in both aroma and flavor, with a viscous texture that feels smooth. However, compared to other releases, the grainy nuances reminiscent of paper feel slightly stronger, which is a bit off-putting. Given that this direction isn't my forte, I might be overreacting slightly. Nonetheless, for those who aren't bothered by these elements, this bottle offers a unique fruity experience. #Irish (IRISH)
