Bottle #グレンバーギー(GLENBURGIE)
A good recent sherry bottle. Glenburgie GLENBURGIE 1994-2012 17yo GM EXCLUSIVE for WHISKY CASTLE #10053 59.8% One of 352 bottles, 1st Fill Sherry Butt The nose has plum, diluted caramel sauce, orange with chocolate, and a strong malty note with some burnt aroma. When drinking, it has a spicy, plum, chocolate, and fruity sweetness but not too strong, with a gentle bitterness, ginger, cinnamon, and a strong malty note with its umami. [Good/Very Good] This Glenburgie 1994 was bottled by GM for Whisky Castle, aged for 17 years. It has a fragrance reminiscent of recent sherry seasoning but, as it is a first-fill sherry cask, the flavor is strongly attached. Due to the butt, there isn't much aging depth, but a strong malty umami with ginger-like qualities remains, and it is a type where both the sherry character and malty notes are simultaneously felt.
