On the palate, it has a smooth mouthfeel, orange oil, a rich honey-like sweetness, a balanced grainy character, and a subtle woody note that is tempered by oak, leaving a pleasant finish. Although not specified, it is believed to be a bourbon hogshead, with notes of orange and apple-like fruits, vanilla, coconut, and a slightly younger grainy character reminiscent of ginger. There is an oakiness that tightens the honey-like sweetness, and a subtle woody note, but it feels deepened in complexity.
