When drinking, it starts with a smooth mouthfeel, expanding into a rich sherry character and grape-like fruits similar to the aroma, with a concentrated sweet note of juice and a pleasant tannic herb finish, long peaty aftertaste. [Very Good] A 20-year-old official hand-filled BOWMORE, available only at the distillery. I think a different cask comes out as they run out, but this is believed to be one of the latest bottlings. The juicy sherry cask fruitiness like grape juice and BOWMORE's characteristic passion fruit notes blend well, making the fruits stand out significantly. The herbs and spices from the cask, as well as the peatiness from the original spirit, are clearly expressed, adding complexity and depth. The balance between sweetness and bitterness is also good, making it a well-crafted sherry cask BOWMORE at this stage.
