When tasted, it starts with a soft mouthfeel followed by a gradual spice of orange and vanilla, coconut, and a subtle honey sweetness with a tightening oak finish. [Good/Very Good] This TORMORE 1996, aged for 20 years, was bottled as a GM Reserve label for La Maison du Whisky's 60th anniversary. From the aroma to the flavor, it clearly exhibits nuances of recent high-quality bourbon barrels such as vanilla, orange, and coconut. However, the oak notes are not overpowering but rather add a rich depth to the overall profile.
