This would have definitely been a purchase if it had come to Japan. Highland Park HIGHLAND PARK 1997-2010 12yo BLADNOCH FORUM #6259 50% one of 308 bottles The aroma has orange, honey, vanilla, a thick grainy note, and a peatiness in the background. When drinking it, it spreads out richly with a slightly chewy texture, orange, vanilla, strong honey sweetness, oak that tightens it up, a thick body, and a long peaty finish. 【Good/Very Good】 This is a Highland Park 1997, aged for 12 years, bottled by Bladnoch Forum in 2010. While the aging period is not very long, and the complexity of the aroma isn't that high, it has a honey-like Highland Park character, peatiness, and a texture that gives a sense of chewiness with the rich flavor of grains packed tightly in. Even though it's young, this type is quite appealing. There was no artificial cask influence, and the bottle gave a straightforward sense of the original spirit's good character. Unfortunately, it seems that it wasn't released in Japan. However, Bladnoch Forum is known for releasing bottles with relatively low prices, and this one wasn't particularly expensive in terms of specifications. If I had come across it at the time of release, I would have bought a lot and drunk it at home. #Highland Park (HIGHLANDPARK)
