The fruit aroma centers on citrus, particularly grapefruit, but includes other elements. It showcases the strong peat typical of Islay cask strength with a clear iodine presence and sufficient malty depth for its aging period. The maritime nuances are also prominent. Likely a bourbon hogshead, it also exhibits vanilla and creamy elements. The taste has a concentrated feel with powdery texture, not overly aromatic but with expansion, and the flavors of fruit, barley, and peat are well-balanced.
