[Good/Very Good] This single cask Glenrothes 1997 was bottled by GM for the Japan Import System, aged approximately 18 years. Although labeled as 'Remade Hogshead,' details are unclear. From the aroma, it seems to be a bourbon cask. It has a vibrant bouquet reminiscent of recent good bourbon casks, with diverse fruity notes like green apple, citrus, and a faint pineapple nuance. It also has a gentle sweetness with depth from honey-like richness and some tannic woodiness, without being flat.
