When short-matured Arran turns into a delicious peated type, it naturally becomes this. Arran ISLE OF ARRAN 2005-2014 8 Year Old Own Bottling for Limburg Whisky Fair #05/159&161 Peated Edition 50.7% - One of 510 bottles, Peated Barrels The aroma features ripe oranges, vanilla, good barley notes with peat, coconut, and a touch of dashi. Upon drinking, it's surprisingly smooth with ripe oranges, coconut, savory barley notes, a subtle sweet richness, and pronounced peat. The body isn't heavy but offers a pleasant drinking experience. 【Good/Very Good】 This is the official Arran 2005 for Limburg Whisky Fair, a peated type matured for 8 years. The nuances of short-matured bourbon barrels with emerging components are clearly felt alongside youthful barley notes. Strong peat and dashi-like characteristics were also present. Perhaps due to its lower alcohol content compared to specifications, there's no roughness in mouthfeel. However, the youthfulness is masked by peat, making it a remarkably well-finished bottle despite its specifications. The three Arran expressions for Limburg this time, though different in style, all left a strong impression of their excellent finish. #Isle Of Arran (ISLE OF ARRAN)
