The aroma is young and strong, with vanilla, orange, floral notes, a touch of new make, youthful strong cereal and plant sensations, peat is also solid. When drinking, the attack is not very strong despite the alcohol content, but it gradually stimulates with fruit like orange and pineapple, beans, strong barley and its umami, the long-lasting peaty aftertaste.
【Good】
This is an official bottle of Arran, a single cask filled for private customers.
Although not stated, it is thought to have been matured in a good bourbon barrel. Although short-matured, it has a decent finish. Of course, there are youthful and new make elements like cereal and plant sensations, but also bourbon barrel-matured nuances like vanilla, fruit, and floral notes.
It seems to be a peated type, with a fairly strong peat sensation. When drinking, the prickliness is not very strong, and there was a matured nuance in the fruitiness. Although there is some immaturity in flavor, it feels like the finish is better than the aroma. There are parts where the peat masks youthfulness, but the fruitiness is clearly felt in the finish.
